Those Super Hornets are freaking Lloyd out! They’re coming over the house low and freaking fast!
I can’t even get a bad picture. By time the camera clicks there’s nothing left but crackling thunderous noise! Beautiful noise!

That’s the one thing I miss about Florida. I lived between Elgin and NAS Pensacola, so I got shows often.

Yep. I miss the yearly shows in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.

Couple years ago we were out on my sisters boat in a large inland lake and a MIG flew over it a few hundred feet off the water coming back from an air show

Nice! I’m rather jelly right now. I grew up under the approach/takeoff path to Glenview Naval Air Base. I loved seeing all the cool stuff flying in and out all he time. I even saw the Blue Angels practicing right over the neighborhood. They were in a left hand bank turn, in formation. The wing tip of the lowest plane couldn’t have been more than 100' in the air. It blew my pre-teen mind.
Sadly, it was one of the bases the Clinton administration closed. Now it’s just another freaking mall and some townhouses. Just what we need.
